Vanish Nightclub Dance Auditions tonight

Tonight I attended the Vanish Night Club "Go-go" dancer auditions. Although sadly I did not get a second call back, on the upside I got the opportunity to meet other dancers as passionate about dance as myself. Some where good, some where experienced, & some where straight up out of this world, setting the bar extremely high! To top it off, the night couldn't have been more surprising as headline dancer of FLUXX San Diego and Boom Box Dancer icon Chloe Nevermore sat in for the auditions, as her friend was the main judge. You can imagine how ecstatic I was, even a little nervous!

One thing is for sure thought, "Vanish" will be remarkable, from head to toe! Along with auditioning dancers, managers are putting together the last few bits of the under ground club together in time for it's opening night, expected to be the end of this month. It's called "Vanish" hence it's vanished stair cases down into a basement far beneath 5th & F street in the Gaslamp District of downtown San Diego! In fact, I almost gave up looking for the audition. It wasn't until a friend/dancer of mine who was also auditioning for the gig pointed out the club was far underground.

When I finally arrived, nearly 3 stair cases below sea level, what I saw was phenomenal. I can tell you from personal experience this new underground hotspot will be off the hook with VIP rooms, booths, huge bar, & the dancers WILL BE outstanding!

Stay tuned as we will be announcing the opening night of Vanish here on Boom Box Dancers!

FLUXX SD WINS NATIONAL TITLE : "NEW CLUB OF THE YEAR"!!! ( & we say CLUB DANCERS of the YEAR! )

Oh shit!!! Just when you thought FLUXX San Diego couldn't get more recognition for their outstanding efforts in entertaining SD club goers, they seize to surprise us once again.

FLUXX can now add the "New Club of the Year" award onto their mantle of remarkable achievements. The downtown San Diego night club beat out nearly 150 impressive new club venues from through out the country in places such as New York, Miami, & LA for the baddest title in nightlife: "NEW CLUB OF THE YEAR"

According to Nightclub & Bar. com ( The Best in Bar Management ) San Diego has got the "mack daddy of them all". It couldn't be a better time to be a San Diego resident, as apparently the hottest night club in the U.S. is in our own back yard!!

To be honest though, it's no surprise club FLUXX won the prestigious award, as with every weekend of every month club director's continue to deliver outstanding performances that make every visit to FLUXX unforgettable and different from the last! From the headline DJ's, the incredibly talented live musicians, the stage lights, bottle service, drinks, to the dancers, this venue has the award in the bag!

A source close to the club, told Boom Box the FLUXX dancers specifically spend nearly 5-8 hours a week rehearsing dance routines, so they can perform at their best ability for the floor audience. And OMG they never miss a beat!

For those of you who haven't been to FLUXX (which the only reason should be because you have been sitting under a rock) the dance numbers for these stage performers aren't your average "Go Go pop lock and dropping dance move".

Being a dancer at FLUXX require's, strength , agility & balance as the majority of the girls performances are trapeze inspired entertainment. You will often see dancers swinging and dancing on roped poles hung from as high as 25feet off the ground. Not only are the girls talented, but extremely attractive too! They make the Pussy Cat Dolls look like Danity Kane on training wheels!

So mad props to the dancers at FLUXX, they are a huge influence that separates the San Diego night club experience from any other! If FLUXX won NEW CLUB OF THE YEAR, calling their stage performers "Dancers of the Year" would be an understatement!
